If you know how to use Excel on Android , the first application that you should try is Kingsoft Office . This is a free office suite that includes everything you need to view, edit and create Word documents, Excel and PowerPoint. Supports cloud storage services (Dropbox, Box, Sky Drive and Google Drive) and its interface is completely in Italian. You can use it to work with files Excel XLS and XLSX files on your smartphone or tablet without regretting the PC too.
How is it used? Almost needless to explain it. If you want to open an Excel document already exists, presses the icon for the folder that is located on the top left on the home screen of the app and select the item folders to select a file from your phone (or the MicroSD that is inside ) or the voice Cloud storage to import a document from Dropbox, Box or Google Drive. If you want to create a new spreadsheet, presses the button + that is at the top and select the first entry New Document and then Blank Spreadsheet from the menu that appears.
You’ll find yourself in the presence of an interface very similar to that of Microsoft Excel, through which you can edit your worksheet as you see fit. To type numbers or text within a cell, just double “tap” within the latter. To recall the formulas available within the app, instead, press the Menu of your smartphone / tablet, swipe the toolbar to the right and select the icon AutoSum . After you finish editing, you can save your Excel document by selecting Save / Save As from the toolbar of Kingsoft Office. As easy as that?
Another great app to use Excel on Android is Google Drive , Sky Drive the official app of the famous cloud storage service Google weblog. It works mainly online and allows you to view, create and edit all major file formats of Microsoft Office or OpenOffice / LibreOffice. It is free and has a user interface entirely in Italian.
To use it, all you have to do is select the spreadsheet to edit from the section My files of the app or create a new Excel document by pressing the button + placed at the top right and selecting Worksheet from the menu that appears. To enter information into a spreadsheet, just do double tap on the cells. As for the formulas on this page you can find the list of all those supported.
You can also activate the ‘ offline access to documents that interests you check / change without Internet connection. To do so, press it on the placed next to the name of the document to have available offline and put the check mark next to the option available offline .
